Made from 1974 on. Eight Wheel double archbar truck, Denver and Rio Grande Western livestock car. Green SW14 body. LA4 roof with separately molded black catwalk.

A series: 1974. Unpainted dark green body. All markings are heat stamped white. "D&RGW" over "4068" (with small superscript "D" after the "8") to the left of sliding access door. "Rio Grande" to right with capacity markings below "Rio". No car end markings, gray roof with black edging. Rare.
B series: 1975. Same as A, but with unpainted light green body. Capacity markings below "Grande".
C series: 1975-76. Same as B, but unpainted dark olive green body. All markings are pad-printed. Additional markings include "ALA. 12 49" below "4068" and "REBUILT 26" below "Rio".
D series: 1977-82. Same as C, but with medium glossy green painted body.
E series: 1983-87. Same as D, but with dark glossy green painted body.
F series: 1987-90. Same as E, but with different type style lettering and numbers.
G series: 1990 on. Same as F, but has white car end markings that include "4068 / TRAINMEN ONLY / OTHERS KEEP OFF" at upper left, diagonal "D&RGW / WA BRAKE / K1 TRIPLE / 5X5 SHANK / MINER GEAR / METAL BRAKE / BEAM" at center. Additional miniscule white markings above top grab iron just below brake wheel.
