LGB 2028D DSP&PRR Mogul
Made from 1988-90. Replaced 2018D. Mogul locomotive, black tender, cab and boiler front. Silver-blue boiler with bronze colored piping. "Brass" on steam and sand domes may or may not be as shiny as on the 2018D. Number 71 on cab and "71" and "DSP&PRR" on tender. Tender is connected to locomotive by special wiring loom and essential to the operation of the unit, therefore neither is sold separately. Replaced by the 21181 in 1993.
Length: 662 mm
A series: 1988. Gold headlight bracket, no rerail on tender.
B series: 1988-90. black headlight bracket, yellow rerail on side of tender.
I have one of these and I'm trying to locate a part. Does anyone know where I can find a sand dome to fit my LGB 2018D???
