Indianapolis, IN Convention Car
Made in 1989. Uncataloged, limited edition, four wheel passenger coach produced for the 11th annivesary LGB Model Railroad Club convention. This is the first car entirely produced by Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk. White painted SM2(B) body with blue painted 3013 interior, painted to match the 1988BTO whtie LGB MRRC convention set. No embossed ID. Red window frames. Gold body seams. MA3 roof. Black markings include:
"LGB MODEL RAILROAD CLUB" above windows at roof line,
"B" between first and second windows, "T" between 2nd and 3rd windows, and "O" between 3rd and 4th windows.
"INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA" and automobile racing flags (green starter flag and black and white winner flag) on the left lower body.
"11TH YEAR" and "1989" in red. and "DINER" on right lower body.
gold "STATE OF INDIANA" circular state seal centered on body side with "1931 A.E.L. 1989" encircled in black above state seal. Signature "Alfred E. Lentz" stenciled in black on loop coupler body end commemorating the passing of the founder and president emeritus of the LGB MRRC. No frame markings.
