Made from 1969-82. Two axle (Bo) Schoema CFL-150 DH industrial diesel engine for mainline service and shunting. Red body on gray or black chassis; model roof horn may be black or dull gold or shiny gold. Operating headlamps. Hazard markings are red and white or yellow and black.
Length: 270 mm
A series: 1969. Brick red unpainted body. Color may vary from pink to dull red. No embossed cabside detail. Plain window frames. No chassis corner markings. Embossed hood and cab grab rails in black. 2100 motor. No pickup skates.
B series: 1969-70. Same as A, but with embossed manufacturer's plaque, white painted "60" on cab. Chassis corner markings usually yellow and black.
C series: 1970-72. Same as B but with gold finish on embossed manufacturer's plaque; red and white hazard markings at each corner of chassis.
D series: 1972-73. Same as C, but with gold window frames, 2200 motor and 2210 pickup shoes.
E series: 1974-82. Same as D, but with glossy red painted body. Electrical outlets were phased in during this period. First was black plastic piece with brass contacts mounted vertically on short hood. Late came two brass contacts mounted vertically directly to short hood.
F series: 1981. Same as E, but without gold on builder's plaque.
